Hormone Balancing for Vibrant Health

This is a huge topic.  When we talk about hormones, we’re not just talking reproductive stuff here.  Hormones are what drive just about every human function.  Your thyroid hormones, adrenal hormones and insulin are the three biggies when it comes to keeping you functioning on a minute by minute basis.  In fact, reproductive hormone balance is lower on the priority scheme when you’re under stress.  Survival depends on the balance of adrenal, thyroid and insulin hormones, and when your survival is threatened, reproduction shuts down.  That’s one of the reasons we hear so many complaints of loss of libido, PMS, hot flashes, and miserable menopause.

Another reason for hormone disruption is the environment.  Our modern day chemicals, plastics and synthetic materials create havoc for your hormones.

On Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 12:30 Central time, on My Blog Talk radio Show, I will be interviewing one of the world’s leading auhorities on hormone balance.  Dr. Lindsey Berkson is an author, speaker and researcher with a passion for what she does.  Her book Hormone Deception is a wealth of information about the ways our environment and lifestyle disrupt our hormones and how we can protect ourselves.  Her new book, Safe Hormones Smart Women is soon to be released, and contains the latest scientific information to empower women to make safe and informed choices when it comes to hormones.

If you ahve questions you’d like answered on the show, submit them as a comment below.

    Hi,

I’m interested in how changing hormones affect vaginal dryness and cause painful intercourse.
How can these things be remedied?

    Thank you.
