Fat measureInsulin resistance – When you see someone with a large waist in proportion to hips, think insulin resistance.  While many people claim to understand insulin resistance, few understand how to truly assess and correct it.

It starts with a blood glucose meter, as I discussed here in a previous post.

Practitioner Corner: Insulin Resistance Tools for Helping Your Clients

There are specific patterns you can have your client strive towards. And once you get people in control of their blood sugar you can often reverse insulin resistance in as little as 30 days.

For more persistent cases, a longer regime of sugar balanced foods and nutrients may be necessary, and more strict avoidance of sugar, even fruit sugar must be done. And for some, the key is in their genes.

I will be sharing a whole lot more in my 5-week course, the Insulin Resistance Practitioner Training, which begins August 14, 2013.

Stay tuned for our big announcement and an invitation to attend a free webinar where I reveal insulin resistance secrets your doctor never told you.

Stay tuned for part 2 next week.
