wonder 150x150 Vibrant Health, a Strong Slim Body and Maximum Energy Can Really Be Yours!Have you ever wondered why some people continually fail to improve their health while others make what seems like a miraculous transformation?

Have you ever set a health goal that you were really excited about? Maybe it was to drop a few pounds, increase your energy, or once and for all clear your skin and shrink your bloated belly.

You gathered all the tools you needed…a book or tape, good food, exercise shoes, maybe even a colon cleanse kit, and you started out on your journey.

A short while later, you found yourself straying. At first it was just a little bit. Then the diversions got a little bit more frequent and you got a lot further off course, until you found yourself right back where you started…or worse! Maybe a few extra pounds crept in, your belly became bloated all over again or you developed a new sort of nagging health complaint.

The Difference Between Success and Failure is Mindset

Whenever you try to make diet and lifestyle changes without first aligning your mind and heart, you set yourself up for struggle.  Long term success depends on aligning with your truest values, setting specific goals and having the tools to make follow-through happen naturally.

Hormone Balancing for Vibrant Health

yoga 212x300 Hormone Balancing for Vibrant Health

This is a huge topic.  When we talk about hormones, we’re not just talking reproductive stuff here.  Hormones are what drive just about every human function.  Your thyroid hormones, adrenal hormones and insulin are the three biggies when it comes to keeping you functioning on a minute by minute basis.  In fact, reproductive hormone balance is lower on the priority scheme when you’re under stress.  Survival depends on the balance of adrenal, thyroid and insulin hormones, and when your survival is threatened, reproduction shuts down.  That’s one of the reasons we hear so many complaints of loss of libido, PMS, hot flashes, and miserable menopause.

Another reason for hormone disruption is the environment.  Our modern day chemicals, plastics and synthetic materials create havoc for your hormones.

On Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 12:30 Central time, on My Blog Talk radio Show, I will be interviewing one of the world’s leading auhorities on hormone balance.  Dr. Lindsey Berkson is an author, speaker and researcher with a passion for what she does.  Her book Hormone Deception is a wealth of information about the ways our environment and lifestyle disrupt our hormones and how we can protect ourselves.  Her new book, Safe Hormones Smart Women is soon to be released, and contains the latest scientific information to empower women to make safe and informed choices when it comes to hormones.

If you ahve questions you’d like answered on the show, submit them as a comment below.
