Substituting Cauliflower for Potatoes
Substituting cauliflower for potatoes is such a simple and delicious way to add a load of nutrition to your diet, yet it’s so often overlooked.
Cauliflower is a member of the brassica family which contains the supper phytonutrient sulforaphane. Brassicas support the immune system by being anti-inflammatory, aid in cancer prevention, support liver detox and help get rid of bad estrogens.
By substituting cauliflower for the typical white potato, you are also helping to stabilize blood sugar which can often spike with starchy vegetables.
The kelp powder adds much-needed minerals and the garlic adds additional immune support. Flax oil provides healthy omega-3 fats.
The potatoes won’t even be missed!
