Emotional Changes When Going Gluten-Free

by | 2 comments

Going gluten-free is extremely rewarding and life-changing. But it's not without its challenges.

Finding gluten-free foods, withdrawal symptoms and emotions can make it very difficult to stay on a gluten-free diet.

Joining Dr. Ritamarie to give you some ideas, tips and guidance on the gluten-free path is Debbie Sipowicz.

About Debbie:

Debbie Sipowicz is a Certified Holistic Health Coach and a Natural Foods Cook specializing in helping women make the transition to a gluten-free life.  After personally experiencing cancer, asthma, gluten intolerance and leaky gut, Debbie has changed her own diet many times over the past twenty years, and has always managed to enjoy food and eat well.  In her coaching practice, Debbie picks up where the “change-your-diet” diagnosis leaves off, and helps women get through the ‘tough-stuff', upgrade their food choices, and still enjoy eating!

Bravo, I really enjoyed Debbie’s interview. The 4 stages of death was a very clear reminder of how to move through letting go of wheat/gluten, and how it is like losing your best comfort friend.
I believe I am moving out of denial, anger and bargaining…:), and my 16 year old son is willing to give it a go with me. I have Dr. Rita’s Dried and Gone To Heaven book, and I wilil also visit Debbies site.
In Appreciation, the “timing” of these calls coming to me now is syncronicistically Divine.
    To the New Normal,
    Annette

Been ‘GF’ for a little over a year now – but this series has really helped me to better grasp the ‘why behind the what’ and it is making a huge difference! Understanding the why’s of GF has strengthened my motivation, dedication and acceptance of this new way of life as well as how I view food – I am actually starting to enjoy ‘being in the kitchen’. Thank you so much! For newbies – be encouraged and don’t give up – it’s worth it!
