Hemp Eggnog Smoothie – Dairy Free and Delicious

Try this delicious, silky smooth eggnog smoothie and watch how even your kids will gulp it down! No need to deprive yourself of the holiday favorites that hold for you such fond memories .. simply replace them with a healthier version.

Hemp Eggnog Smoothie

Ingredients:

•1/4 cup hemp seeds
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, or more to taste
• 1/4 teaspoon cardamom
• Pinch of turmeric
• 2 tablespoons of chia seeds
• Pinch of green stevia
• 2 – 3 handfuls spinach
• 1 cup of water, or more as needed for desired consistency
• Pinch of clove (optional)
• 1 teaspoon dulse flakes (optional)
• Ice (optional)

Directions:

1. Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.

Variation: Add your favorite green, up to 4 handfuls, if desired to make this a real green smoothie. The recipe tastes best with spinach, but other greens can be used as well.
