It's exciting to hear stories about transformational healings using the principles I teach.
I had the pleasure of hanging out with Venus De Marco, author of The Healing Journey of My Bodacious Ta-tas yesterday.
She lives here in Austin, and I invited her to make a special guest appearance at my Spring into Vitality live event, March 22-24. She shared her journey of how she healed a 9 cm tumor in her breast with no chemo, radiation, or surgery. NONE. ZERO. She used only natural means – food, herbs, nutrition, and the power of her thoughts and emotions.
She said a few things to me that I found profound.
One is that girls as young as 10 years old are getting breast cancer. When I was that age, 10 year-olds didn't even have breasts. The other was about the importance of your thoughts and emotions in healing. She believes that to heal from cancer or any other health crisis, you have to start with belief, be willing to let go of fear, and offer forgiveness to anyone for whom you are carrying a grudge or judging for a wrong doing.
That, plus of course the basics – sound nutrition, exercise, fresh air, sunshine, and some rather interesting natural therapies – are what gave Venus back her health.

We talked as we sipped Spring Dragon Longevity tea and could have hung out sharing for hours. It was a great break in my day.
On another note, my 14 year-old is on spring break, so I am looking forward to sleeping in a little longer and getting to see him more.
Spring is in the air. While last week's 90 degree weather only lasted a day, the forecast for the coming week is very promising. It's supposed to be in the 80's by end of the week and into next week, so the weather should be perfect for our weekend event. Be sure to check out the events and calendar below for coming talks. Tuesday night I am speaking on a radio show called “The Doctor's Inn”. It should be great fun. My dear friend and colleague, Dr. Lindsey Berkson speaks after me on the show. Here's a another great GREEN recipe for March from the above Deliciously Quick Lunch and Dinner Ideas e-Book:
3 medium avocados
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
dash cumin (optional)
Put all ingredients in a bowl and mash with a potato masher until smooth.
Adjust salt and lemon to preference
1. Add diced tomatoes, minced cilantro and onion and garlic.
2. Add cayenne or minced jalapeno pepper for a spicy kick
3. Process all ingredients in a food processor instead of hand mashing, if desired.
