Radio Show: How to Overcome MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Using Diet and Functional Medicine

by | 1 comment

MS diet and nutrition protocols

MS diet and nutrition protocolsMS is a complex neurological disease that affects the nervous system of both young and old with varying detrimental effects and symptoms.  Individuals may face vision, hearing, memory, balance, and mobility issues.

Not only do the consequences of facing MS create physical, emotional, and financial tolls on those who suffer from the condition, but their families are equally affected.  Watching a loved one's health and mobility decline over months and years, enduring the powerlessness that comes as canes and walkers give way to weakness and wheelchairs is traumatic for all who face this disabling diagnosis.

Join Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo and meet the “patient” who has become a pioneer doctor in changing how people live with MS.

Terry Wahls - Overcoming MS

Dr. Terry Wahls, a clinical professor of medicine at the University of Iowa, faced a diagnosis of secondary progressive multiple sclerosis herself, which confined her to a tilt-recline wheelchair for four years.

Using herself as a research subject, Dr. Wahls traded conventional protocols for the latest research in integrative nutrition to heal her condition.   First, she walked slowly, then steadily, and then Dr. Wahls biked eighteen miles in a single day.

Now, in The Wahls Protocol, she shares the details of the protocol that allowed her to reverse many of her symptoms, get back to her life, and embark on a new mission: to share the Wahls Protocol with others suffering from the ravages of multiple sclerosis and other autoimmune and chronic diseases.

I will listen to some of your programs. I have professional corporate calls and a church activity some Wed. nights. I have 3 places to be some nights.

I’m going to use stem cell nutrition and eating more vegetables for most of my health.

    Thank you.
