Equipment

  • 1 blender
  • 1 Saucepan
  • 1 spatula
  • 1 Storage dish

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup red or yellow split lentils, soaked and blended
  • 3 cups water
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp curry powder or garam masala
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp  ground cumin

Instructions
 

  • Soak lentils for 2–3 hours.
  • Drain and blend until smooth, adding just enough water to create a batter like consistency
  • Combine lentil slurry, salt, and spices in a saucepan.
  • Cook for 8–10 minutes, stirring frequently, until thick like polenta.
  • Spread into a dish.
  • Chill until firm.
  • Cut into cubes or slices and serve.
