My cozy little family of 4 will be getting on the road beginning August 6th and heading to Florida where my older son, Eric, is going to attend college. I am teary eyed as I write this, remembering how emotional it was to drop Eric off at kindergarten. Now he’ll be 1500 miles away and I won’t see him for months. My “baby” will be on his own, and I will miss his hugs at the end of the day!Transitions are a double edged sword. Leaving behind the familiar and stepping into the unknown can be frightening.
