getty_rm_photo_of_sweetenersIn today's world of conflicting information, how can a person know which sweetener to use without compromising health?

Why is white, refined sugar so bad?

What healthy alternatives are there to satisfy your sweet tooth?

Many supposed “healthy” sugar alternatives are nothing more than poison (artificial sweeteners). But most people know about them already. In this show, I uncover the potential risks of some of the more popular “healthy” alternatives.

Join Dr. Ritamarie as she delves into one of her most commonly asked questions, “which sweetener is the healthiest for me, and still tastes the best?”

Not all “healthy” sweeteners are created equal:

On the shelves of both the grocery and health food stores, there are multitudes of sweeteners galore. Organic sugar, “raw” sugar, sugar cane, honey, raw honey, agave nectar, xylitol, and loads of other artificial sweeteners that make big promises to satisfy your sweet tooth. It is no wonder people are confused. In this episode, Dr. Ritamarie will demystify the sweetener controversy.
